2012-present: PhD researcher in Altmetrics (Social Media metrics) & research evaluation at Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University, The Netherlands.

2008-2012: Faculty Member (University Lecturer) at the Department of Knowledge & Information Science, Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, Iran; Guest university Lecturer at the Department of Knowledge & Information Sciences, PNU, Bushehr, Iran.

2006-2008: Head of International Journals Department at Regional Information Center for Science &Technology Studies(RICeST), Shiraz, Iran; Guest university Lecturer at the Department of Knowledge & Information Sciences, PNU, Shiraz, Iran

I also worked at École de bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l'information (EBSI), Université de Montréal (UDeM) Canada, as a visiting researcher in summer 2014.
